About The Giver Foundation
At 5 years old, Tradd Hodge told his Mother he wanted to start “a holiday to help children in hospitals.”
Tradd began his mission by sending out an email to friends and family to collect donations. The response to his request was powerful and has grown more and more each year.
In 2022, The Giver Foundation took the next nonprofit step and entered into a designated fund agreement with The Spartanburg County Foundation.
What We Do
We help children in hospitals and children's organizations with activities, education and healing resources, hygiene necessities, toys and most importantly, SMILES!
Who We Are
We are a community of Givers with a heart for giving to children in need. We are based in Spartanburg, SC and reach children in South Carolina, North Carolina and beyond.
